WELCOME TO THE CONVENTION!

Once again, the Board of Directors is pleased to welcome members, friends and visitors to an annual convention of the Mattachine Society. This is the fourth such meeting, and the third to be beld in San Francisco.

We believe all who attend our sessions will benefit from the addresses and panel discussions, and will enjoy the social activities scheduled

The Society is grateful indeed to those professional per sons and public officials who will appear on our program. The national beadquarters is also particularly grateful for the cooperation and courtesies of members of the San Francisco Area Council for their aid in program arrangements, bousing for out of toun delegates, and assistance in conduct of the Convention.

NEW MATTACHINE FOLDER AVAILABLE IN QUANTITY

A new folder, "That Does Mattachine Do?" has been printed at San Francisco and is now available in quantity for all readers and members who might wish to mail it to interested friends and assoc· iates. Designed to accompany a general information folder issued previously, the new leaflet tells what Mattachine has accomplished since its inception in 1950 in the fields of publishing, education, public relations, legal aid, research,

and social service.

The previous folder, "In Case You Didn't Know," tells briefy the structure and purpose of Mattachine, and should accompany the new leaflet. This latter folder has been revised and reprinted in quantity also. Price of the folders is as follows: 100 for $1.50; 50 for $1.00 or 3 cents each in smaller quantities. Be sure to state which folder is desired (or both in equal quantity, etc.) when ordering.
